SUBURB HIGHLIGHT
Double Bay
If socialite spotting is your thing, then the upmarket shops and restaurants of Double Bay will be heaven. This is is the Beverley Hills of Sydney.
The glitterati like to be seen lunching in one of the many cafes that line the streets. Boutiques abound, as do the Ferraris and Porsches that line the streets. This is the main shopping centre for the surrounding well to do suburbs of Bellevue Hill, Vaucluse, Point Piper and Rose Bay.
Double Bay is next to Point Piper and Bellevue Hill and is a bayside suburb on the main harbour. Ferries run from here to the CBD. Beautiful older style homes and elegant apartments. Development has been happening in recent times with luxury apartment developments cropping up, suited for downsizers moving from larger family homes in the surrounding suburbs.
There are a number of well-known pubs that attract a younger crowd. A small marina and some public moorings are available for boat owners.
Central to the Eastern Suburbs and the city it is a convenient base for city working and reaching all the best schools.

Mosman
The glamorous suburb of Mosman is home to the beautiful and magical Balmoral Beach. Like a gentle impressionist painting, Balmoral beach is lined with bathers languishing on the soft sands. Calm waters mean that safely doing laps is possible and children can play serenely.
Cremorne & Cremorne Point
Two sought-after areas that line Sydney Habour on the North side facing the Opera House and middle Harbour in the other direction. Cremorne, and especially the ritzy Cremorne Point, provide incredible views with their sloping vantage points.
North Sydney
Hugging the Harbour Bridge is the incredibly central suburb of North Sydney on the North Shore. Competing with the CBD for the business center of central Sydney, it offers apartments, shops and office blocks with some older buildings resisting the tide of progress.
